Justin Bellucci

Justin has over 12 years of experience in both the private sector and academia. His experience ranges from architectural design, product and web application development, to building energy engineering. Justin brings a deep understanding of many disciplines to each project and is able to convey complex ideas in a simple manner. His research background focused on the convergence of IT and building technology in both commercial and residential markets with computer simulation and analysis at the forefront of his work. While in graduate school his research focused on high performance control systems and web application development for the purpose of developing more robust data acquisition techniques and control strategies for commercial buildings.

Justin continued his research and honed his understanding of complex building systems and product development while working for Belimo Automation in Switzerland. He worked in Belimo’s research and development division at their corporate headquarters and was responsible for implementation and testing of numerous products. He successfully deployed complex computer simulations and control strategies for Belimo’s Shared Logic line of products. Justin now shares his time as the Director of Engineering at SynEnergy with the University of Colorado as an instructor in the Environmental Design Program.
